COACH REGISTRATION for 2021 Spring

As coaches, assistant coaches, and program administrators, it is critical that we all work diligently to ensure that the leagues’ policies and guidelines are followed. This includes certifications of all coaches in the area of background checks, concussion training, and SafeSport training.   For the safety of the children and to mitigate risk for you and Deer Park Soccer League, it is MANDATORY that every coach completes all three areas of training before stepping onto the field.

A mandatory coaches meeting will be held March 15. Please keep this date available.

1.  BACKGROUND CHECKS:

Your registration will link your background check to our system, providing us a simple indicator of your status. Our system will not be able to see any private information.

2.  CONCUSSION TRAINING CERTIFICATION

All Coaches MUST complete one of the following Concussion Training online courses and provide a PDF copy of their completion certificate for this registration process. You will not be able to complete the registration without oneIf you have previously completed the concussion training it is good for two years from the date of completion.

BEFORE you begin this registration program, please make sure you have documentation of completing one of the following FREE training options:

National Federation of State High School Associations Concussion in Sports – The course can be found at this link.

Select either the "Concussion for Students" or "Concussion in Sports." Click on the "order here” button to begin the training. Complete a brief registration form prior to beginning the course, which is solely for the purpose of registering in their database as having successfully completed the online material. Print out your completed certificate in pdf format, otherwise, your name may not appear on this certificate.
