DPSL 2020 Fall Season

The Cincinnati Hills SAY League has made the decision to not play inter-league games this Fall, so our recreational soccer program will hold a “Practice and Play” season.

The season is open to boys and girls born in 2004 through 2015.

The cost is $25 per participant.

Practices will be on Saturday and Sunday starting September 12 and run through October 31 (8 weeks).

Players will have an instructional practice followed by an hour scrimmage.

As coaches, assistant coaches, and program administrators, it is critical that we all work diligently to ensure that the leagues’ policies and guidelines are followed. This includes certifications of all coaches in the area of background checks, concussion training, and SafeSport training.   For the safety of the children and to mitigate risk for you and the DPSL, it is MANDATORY that every coach completes all three areas of training before stepping onto the field.

A mandatory coaches meeting will be held on Thursday, September 3, 6-7pm at Chamberlin Park shelter close to Blue Ash Rd. next to the city building.

This registration system will link your background check to our system, providing us a simple indicator of your status. Our system will not be able to see any private information.

All Coaches MUST complete one of the following Concussion Training online courses and provide a pdf copy of their completion certificate for this registration process. You will not be able to complete the registration without one. If you have previously completed the concussion training it is good for two years from the date of completion.

BEFORE you begin this registration program, please make sure you have documentation of completing one of the following FREE training options:

National Federation of State High School Associations Concussion in Sports – The course can be found at this link.

Select either the "Concussion for Students" or "Concussion in Sports." Click on the "order here” button to begin the training. Complete a brief registration form prior to beginning the course, which is solely for the purpose of registering in their database as having successfully completed the online material. After you have completed the course you will be given the option to print out a personalized certificate of completion. Print out your completed certificate in pdf format, otherwise, your name may not appear on this certificate.

Center for Disease Control - Heads Up to Youth Sports Online training program, can be found at this link.

Select the online training course to begin your training. After successfully completing the online training, you will be prompted to print out a personalized "certificate of completion”. FYI - this online course option does not keep a record of your completing this training.

After completing either approved option for your concussion training, you will need to print out your personalized "certificate of completion” and keep a copy with you at ALL SAY related functions as you may be required to show your personalized certificate to the appropriate SAY authorities.

SafeSport Training includes sexual misconduct awareness, emotional and physical misconduct, and mandatory reporting. Upon successful completion of the training the participant will receive an overall SafeSport Training Certificate. SafeSport Training is required to be completed every two years

This is the link for the Safe Sport training that must be done by all coaches. It does take 90 minutes to complete and needs to be completed before you are allowed to coach. You will need to create an account after clicking on the link. After completing this course, you will need to have the completion certificate to upload during the registration process.

This is the access code you will need

Thank you for doing your part to make DPSL a great soccer league.
