2026 Spring Soccer

The Deer Park Soccer League is a community-based recreational youth soccer program, run by a 100% volunteer board and coaching staff. DPSL is open to all players who reside in Sycamore Township, Silverton, and Deer Park. We do not hold tryouts or cut players and all who want to play are welcome. DPSL is a member of the Soccer Association of Youth (SAY Soccer) and the Cincinnati Hills Say Soccer League (CHSS). Our primary goals are:

To teach the fundamentals of soccer so that each player is prepared both mentally and physically for the sport.
To create an environment in which every player will develop both outstanding character and sportsmanship.
To create a passion for the sport of soccer in every player
To have FUN,

Spring 2026 season will have teams based on grade level and not birthdate. Due to the school changing birthdate requirements for Kindergarten, some of the signup birthdates will be different for our older age groups. We know that there will be circumstances in which the player may have been held back a grade level, so we will reach out to those parents whose grade level may not match up with the level that they are signed up with to come to a decision as to which team they will be on.

First Touches and 14U are the only age groups based on birthdate. First Touches is our new program geared for 3 & 4 year olds who have never played soccer before. First Touches will be once a week on Saturday mornings where children will be introduced to the fundamentals of soccer and will be limited to one team of 8 children. There will be no games for First Touches. Our 14U players may possibly be combined into a coed team if enough players do not sign up to have separate teams.

Our levels:

First Touches (3/4 year old who have never played before): Players with birthdates of 8/1/2021-12/31/2022
6U Coed (Preschool/Kindergarten): Players with birthdates of 8/1/2019-9/1/2021
8U (1st/2nd grade): Players with birthdates of 8/1/2017- 7/31/2019
10U (3rd/4th grade): Players with birthdates of 8/1/2015-7/31/2017
12U (5th/6th grade): Players with birthdates of 8/1/2013- 7/31/2015
14U: Players with birthdates of 1/1/2012- 12/31/2013

Schedules for players:

First Touches: meets once a week on Saturday mornings; no games.
6U: practices one weeknight, one game on Saturday’s
8U-12U: practices two nights a week, 1-2 games a weekend
14U: practices two nights a week, games can be any day of the week (usually weeknight games are during practice nights)

We want to have as many kids play as possible so in the instance there are not enough players for a team, the possibilities for a solution will be talked about among the players, families, and DPSL board.
